We are currently recruiting a Manager for our Software Quality engineering and test function

The Software Test Manager is responsible for all testing best practices and associated deliverables for eCOA Studies.

As the Software Test Manager you will be responsible for managing the productivity of the staff, ensuring timely test completion of all agreed projects and most importantly, adherence to Quality best practices to ensure accuracy for our customers and efficiency in delivery.

The Software Test Manager is responsible for team members' test case writing/execution along with owning projects in their assigned squad.

The Software Test Manager role will include the following duties and responsibilities

Writes and maintains all Solutions Delivery QA standard operating procedures. Ensures all testing practices and procedures meet the regulatory compliance standards for Good Clinical Practices.

Leads/Owns and participates in issue investigations and RCAs as applicable (including Post-GMR defects). Responsible for developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions as a result of RCAs, and approved by the CIC.

Identifies areas for and drives continuous improvement through the development of best practices. Identifies and implements tools and techniques to improve delivery quality and timeliness.

Contributes and works with team members in improving testing cycle efficiency (reduce cycle time without compromising quality).

Manages Test automation tasks within the group to reduce cycle time and makes sure the team re-uses test automation in subsequent TCOs for the studies that has test automation.

Optimizes existing processes to maximize efficiencies and continues to identify, plan and execute continuous improvement activities. Drives continuous improvements through observation, measurement and root cause analysis/resolution.

Ensures commitment to functional excellence and the ability to execute positive changes.

Manages the day to day operations within the QA testing department, including direct reports and offshore team. This includes approving timesheets, reviewing training records to ensure all staff members are in compliance, as well as resolving issues and conflicts regarding project progress.

Leads and Runs site level department Daily and/or weekly meeting for SQE Team.

Works with Director of Software Quality Engineering and offshore testing Managers, including resource management and capacity planning, knowledge delivery to ensure proper training, project assignments and schedule development, as well as continuous improvement.

Provides weekly and monthly metrics outlining Key Performance Indicators (KPI) measuring productivity, timeliness and quality.

Prepares data on Customer First calls ahead of daily call and contributes with clear status updates and other relevant information

Ensures the quality and timely delivery of all software validation efforts. Provides insight and guidance to the project team on testing approach, best practices, scheduling, effort estimations, regulatory expectations, etc. Ensures that validation efforts are completed in accordance to ERT SOPs.

Monitors project testing progress daily, reviews issues and develops mitigation plans for projects that are at risk of not completing on time, or do not complete on time. Follows up with appropriate staff to communicate risks and plans to move forward.

Manages and administers the systems and tools used in the department (JIRA, Jama).

Responds to audit observations, and ensures implementation of any CAPAs.

Reviews all projects status with team and resolves any risks with a goal of meeting all target dates without fail.

Authors CAPAs to ensure implementation of timely, and effective corrective & preventive actions.

As a key member of the eCOA team, the Software Test Manager requires the following skills, experience and qualifications.

Education:

·BS, BA or equivalent in an Information Technology or a related field required.

Experience:

·Experience of software quality assurance/Test

·Experience in managing projects with a proven track record of managing a team, to deliver quality, on-time and in-budget.
