We're looking for a Senior Strategist- Supporter Journeys to join us on a brave journey of change as we deliver our new fundraising strategy.

In this newly created role, you will transform our approach to supporter journeys.
You will lead on a journeys framework for hundreds of thousands of individual givers and set the direction for our supporter journeys. You will be driven by insight and a passion to give British Red Cross supporters an exceptional experience with us.

If you love using creativity and data to solve problems and have a passion for delivering a world class supporter experience through inspiring and engaging journeys, then this could be the role for you.

Reporting to the Head of Supporter Engagement, you will develop, oversee and prioritise a portfolio of supporter journey development projects, ultimately leading to the transformation of our supporter journeys.

Our fundraising is critical to enabling our services that help people in crisis - whether that's in the UK or overseas, it's vital that we as a team can engage and inspire our supporters so that they choose to continue to give to the British Red Cross.

The fundraising environment has changed so dramatically that we are responding with a new fundraising strategy to ensure we take an innovative and transformative approach to how we raise funds and engage our supporters.

This role sits in the Supporter Marketing and Engagement Team. Our vision for the next 5 years is to lead the organisation in the mass engagement of a diverse community of supporters - offering them ways to give that work for them and generates income to help people in crisis.

This role might be for you if

You are passionate about finding the future of fundraising - you know where we've come from as a sector and are motivated by changing how we move forward. You're not fazed by the unknown and are excited to take a senior role within a team to carve our own way ahead.
You've got proven experience in designing successful customer/supporter journeys using a range of channels and techniques; you'll also have an excellent understanding of the drivers behind loyalty and lifetime value.

You've got experience of using audience data and insight to drive decision making and are able to create and embed frameworks, guidelines and tools to be used by colleagues.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a resilient character, responding well to ambiguity and building strong relationships within and across teams to achieve our mission together.
