Software Account Manager, ideally with experience looking after a Sage client base, to join an award-winning ERP software reseller. This company has had an amazing history of success and has built a strong ERP software business over the past 25 years, focusing on the full range of Sage solutions in the SME space. A competitive package of up to £55k base plus £5,400 car allowance and an uncapped commission of around £20 - 40k per annum.

The role is home based anywhere in the UK, Reading is just a central marker point but bears no relevance to where you can live. But realistically you will probably be somewhere south of Nottingham.

They are looking for a personable, credible and driven Account Manager who ideally has previous experience working with Sage clients whether that be Sage EM (formerly Sage X3), Sage 100, 500 or Sage 200. They would also be happy with other Software Account Managers with a track record of working with other accounting or ERP solutions such as Dynamics NAV, PS Financials, Epicor, Access Accounts, Exchequer, Pegasus Opera, SAP Business One, Xero, Intact IQ, Deltek, NetSuite, COINS, Kerridge or anything similar.

Your primary role will be to look after the relationships with 70 existing customers, building on loyalty, plus upselling a portfolio of add-on products, extra modules, extra licenses, business services and support contracts. There will be some field based work promoting additional services and software upgrades. You will be happy working with a range of Sage solutions and juggling the mix.

You need to be able to maintain and build these relationships, inspiring trust and confidence and ensuring that clients are happy and satisfied with their service offering and ensuring that you spot and then optimise opportunities to sell and promote additional products, support services and licenses. You will focus on gaining repeat business and managing client expectations.

They sell and implement the full range of Sage products including Sage 200, Sage Enterprise Management, Sage 1000, and Sage CRM as well as extra such as BI, document management and warehouse management. They have 3 offices, and work with mid-market companies across Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales, Supply Chain, House Building, Wholesale, Rentals, Construction and Engineering.

Your profile:

* Proven experience as an Account Manager or Sales Executive

* Good all-round knowledge of Sage solutions or other Accounting / ERP software products

* Ability to qualify and develop new opportunities

* A track record of generating increased revenue from an existing client base

* A consultative soft sell, personable approach

* Strong communication skills

* Excellent relationship building
