LB Recruit is working with a Top 75 Chartered Accountancy who are looking for an ambitious and driven Audit and Accounts Manager. Responsibilities of the role:
  • Managing a client portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
  • Liaising with the clients on all aspects of the audit or accounts and to be the main point of contact for any ad-hoc queries.
  • Ability to understand how tax impacts both personal and company elements with a view of planning thereon.
  • Job planning, supervision and finalisation.
  • Coaching and developing junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensuring agreed deliverables are within the set time frame.
  • Controlling and delivering any work required on a range of audit and non-audit accounts assignments, meeting all internal, client based and legislative deadlines.
  • Ensuring that the firm's standard processes are used in the production of audit and accounts work in all aspects and for ensuring that technical standards are maintained with the ability to answer technical questions proficiently and confidently.

Requirements of the role:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • All applicants must have substantial audit experience
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of OMB/SME clients
  • Experience in new business development and client relationship management
  • Experience of dealing with complex client issues
  • Leadership experience
  • Travel to clients will be expected
