Arden Bookkeeping is looking to recruit an ambitious, forward thinking Assistant Management Accountant to join our team. We offer an exciting and diverse place to work introducing you to many different industries all in one role. It is a varied and fast paced role which will never get boring!

This role is based both on site at clients and in the head office in the village of Knowle. A great central location with strong public transport links. We are looking for an immediate start for this full time, permanent position.

Main responsibilities of the role:
  • Creating weekly and monthly management accounts for various clients
  • Processing monthly journals
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Creating new KPI's and processes to improve current client's performance
  • Weekly system reports as required for clients
  • Organising monthly payment runs and authorising expenses and payroll for clients.

Skills required for this role:
  • Ideally 2+ years experience in the industry
  • Good knowledge of Sage & Xero essential
  • A confident level of experience with Microsoft word & excel
  • Excellent communication skills a necessity as you will be dealing with many different clients representing our brand.
  • Strong problem solving skills to be able to look at different business models and identify ways to improve systems.
  • Able to confidently work from your own initiative effectively.
