Sales Manager - Temporary Edge Protection - Hire

The successful applicant will join an organisation with real purpose, the eradication of death and injury arising from working at height.

This company, a leading supplier of temporary edge protection and personal fall protection systems, are recruiting for an ambitious sales leader.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the profitable growth of the business. The growth plan will include increasing the size of the sales team, developing sales processes and adding new products to the range.

This Sales Manager position is a player-manager role, with responsibility for a sales territory or customer portfolio as well as sales management and leadership responsibility. Success in the role will lead to the opportunity to take on General Management duties and could lead to an equity opportunity in the future.

Knowledge of temporary edge protection and working at heights is a prerequisite for this role as is Sales Management experience.

To be successful, you will need to be able to demonstrate past success and knowledge of:

- How to prospect and win new business.
- How to manage and grow existing accounts.
- How to network and build relationships.
- How to plan a sales territory and maximise customer-facing time.
- CRM and sales pipeline management.
- Effective sales management
- Microsoft Office applications.

To apply you must have both relevant Temporary Edge Protection and Sales Management experience.

Location is not crucial, albeit, a Midlands/South of Midlands base will be ideal, applications will be considered from further afar.

In addition to a competitive salary, the role has an uncapped commission scheme and comes with the choice between a quality company car or car allowance.
