Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Manager - FMCG eCommerce
Runcorn WA7
Competitive Salary & Benefits

This is an opportunity for a talented and motivated front-end developer to join a company in the midst of an exciting phase of growth and change. Technology is a key part of the brand's core strategy and it's now looking to optimise its pan-European websites to improve the user journey and revenue generation.

This is a full-time, permanent role within an expanding team dedicated to providing high-quality, industry-leading solutions to facilitate the growth ambitions of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-skilled team with a proven success rate at a crucial point in its UX and CRO journey. It is fast paced, exciting and data driven environment with a wide variety of skills.

The CRO Manager Role:

If you’re fluent in all things CRO, know how to develop front-end websites, are keen to manage projects, and generally obsessed with winning in a mobile-first world, we want to meet you. We work lean and fast to build and iterate quickly, so we need a do-er who is also interesting in influencing the product roadmap and owning A/B testing.

It's fast paced and it's demanding but it's very rewarding and a fun environment to be in. We're not award-winning by accident. Rigorous testing of everything on the site (you excel with A/B test methodology, and know how to read the data from test callouts). Conversion rate optimization - you know what makes a page CONVERT. You will be self-driven to be successful and drive revenues through your work.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Responsible for front end development and the UI/UX from idea generation to release
+ Accountable to the CMO for implementing tests, front-end changes according to specification and schedule and for overall test performance and conversion improvements
+ Perform adequate testing to ensure that changes fulfil technical and aesthetic requirements
+ Contribute as a team member and work collaboratively to meet business objectives
+ Work with other parts of the business to discuss and implement ideas for website improvements

About You:

+ At least 2 years commercial experience as a front-end developer
+ At least a second-class degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
+ Excellent technical front end development coding skills with attention to detail, an ordered approach to solving problems and a desire to produce work of outstanding quality and reliability
+ Desire to further technical and commercial knowledge and gain breadth of experience
+ Creative and pro-active approach to work
+ Ability in PHP, HTML 5, CSS 3 JavaScript

+ Working knowledge of image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop
+ Experience of building web UIs in a JavaScript framework such as jQuery or AngularJS
+ Experience of building web sites optimised for mobile devices
