Operations Manager - Level 4 Financial Planner | Wealth Management Practice
£35,000 - £50,000 + Annual bonus, Pension, Life and Critical Illness Cover

An outstanding new opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager within a highly successful Oxfordshire Wealth Management Practice. You will be managing the operational needs of this busy practice which supports three Wealth Management Consultants. The Practice is in a modern open-plan office in a beautiful, rural market town.

The Practice has rapidly grown over the past 8 years and now has funds under management in excess of 125M. It is well known as one of the most successful and respected growing practices within the local area. The practice aims to double its FUM over the next 5 years, this growth offers opportunity for those within the practice and the Partners are very focused on supporting and developing the team to enable them to progress their careers accordingly. 

The team consists of 11 enthusiastic and hard working individuals who all enjoy what they do and work well together as one team. The practice is unique to most in that it is run by 2 Partners, a Senior Advising Partner and a Non-Advising Managing Partner who’s main objectives are Delivering an Outstanding Client Experience and Doubling the Practice in the next 5 years. In order to continue to achieve this the appointment of an Operations Manager is now imperative, the successful candidate will work hand in hand with the Managing Partner to deliver those objectives.

The Operations Manager Role:

+ Reporting to the Managing Partner you will manage all operational aspects of the Practice on a daily basis. 
+ This will include a review of current processes and where appropriate introducing changes to process and improvement within the business.
+ Providing outstanding client service will be of upmost importance to you. As a leader you will inspire others to do the same. 
+ You will be overseeing the work flow within the business and will need to ensure deadlines and targets are met by all.
+ You will be responsible for the risk and compliance of the Practice ensuring these set targets are met. 
+ You will be responsible for managing, developing and training a growing team of paraplanners, admin and PA’s (currently 6) and creating a motivated culture where tasks are completed in an efficient way.
+ You will be managing a CRM system and providing Management Information to the Partners.
+ You will have a great deal of contact with third parties and clients.
+ There is scope for this role to progress within the business and it would suit an ambitious person.

About You:

+ You will have a track record as a Manager, in a Financial Services operational office based environment. However we will consider applications from those who have a professional services background combined with some Financial Services knowledge and qualification.
+ You are Level 4 Diploma Qualified with a good technical understanding.
+ You will be a confident professional with excellent communication skills, energy and the ability to motivate others. 
+ You have common sense, influencing skills and enjoy problem solving. You are calm under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are solution focussed.
+ You will have experience of managing and developing others and will be able to demonstrate this at interview as well as your enthusiasm for this role.
+ You will have a good understanding of how you can add value to this business
+ You will enjoy working as part of a team.
+ You have some HR experience and may have some IT and Facilities management experience.
+ You are looking to progress your career.
+ You want to be part of a team of individuals who support and challenge each other to be the best they can be
+ You enjoy working hard, but like a bit of fun along the way!
