Location Independent role. Salary up to £80K, £105K OTE, plus car allowance and comprehensive benefits.

We are looking for enthusiastic Pre Sales- Student Information Systems to join the growing team. You may be a Pre Sales Consultant, but we are also interested to speak to anyone who has worked as a consultant with Student Information Systems or works in a higher education setting with Student Information Systems and loves working with customers.

As a Pre Sales- Student Information Systems you will be involved in a wide range of activities from creating compelling responses to customer tenders, using your discovery skills to understand customer requirements and presenting/demonstrating solutions to Universities in the UK.

What you will do

Provide the Sales and Marketing teams with expert assistance throughout the various stages of the sales process including qualification, RFI/RFP/proposals, presentation and demonstration stages, handover to the implementation services team and post-implementation customer support.

Day to day activities are many & varied and beyond supporting customer engagements, you will also be involved in conferences, trade shows and marketing activities to meet the demand for information in easy to consume forms.

Requirements for the Pre Sales- Student Information Systems
  • A minimum of 3 year's experience as a Pre Sales Consultant, or an implementation consultant looking to move into pre-sales, or an internal student information systems consultant working in the Higher Education Sector
  • Solid experience with UK higher Education Student Processes such as Admissions, Curriculum Management, Student Records, Academic advising, student accounting
  • You will have worked with an established ERP/Cloud based solutions such as Oracle Student Cloud, Peoplesoft Campus, Ellucian Banner, Tribal Sits/Vision, Technologyone, U4SM or other Student Information System used in the UK Higher Education sector
  • Proven ability to create and deliver engaging presentations, proposals and demonstrations
  • Demonstrable analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication skills and sense of humour, with the ability to build rapport within the organisation and with external stakeholders at all levels
  • The ability to travel within the UK and Ireland as required

Any of the following would be an advantage
  • Experience using visual techniques and storytelling to communicate your message to an audience
  • Ability to demonstrate finance applications
