Supported Housing Project Worker (Homeless)
Here at Solon South West Housing Association we have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Housing Project Worker (Homeless) to join our busy, dedicated team at Rackfield House, Bath on a part time, permanent basis (working hours per week over 3 days). You will receive a salary of £11,959 - £13,716 (pro rata) (FTE: £19,932 - £22,860). Solon is an independent, local housing association, providing 1,300 homes in Bristol and South Gloucestershire mainly for affordable ; We aim to be a local provider of exceptional housing, providing homes people want to live in and delivering great customer service. We are financially strong, with an annual turnover of approx. £ , a healthy surplus, the capacity to produce new homes and an active development programme. The Supported Housing Project Worker (Homeless) role: We are seeking a highly motivated, approachable individual with experience in safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality, and support plans. Key responsibilities as our Supported Housing Project Worker (Homeless) : - Ensure that the service provides a safe and welcoming environment to clients and visitors by being a first point of contact in the building. - Provide advice and guidance to vulnerable adults on benefits, local service provision and the service complaints procedure. - Maximise rental income and minimise losses by managing rent accounts and lettings to the highest standard. - Facilitate and empower, by accompanying to appointments where necessary, vulnerable adults' access to and take up of support services linking into the local community where possible. Our ideal Supported Housing Project Worker (Homeless) will have the below skills and experience : - Knowledge of homelessness and associated issues. - An ability to effectively address anti-social and challenging behavior. - A systematic approach to managing administrative tasks with the ability to multitask methodically and effectively.
