Dutton recruitment have an exciting new opportunity for a Online Marketing Assistant for our client based in Rotherham. This role would be perfect for a graduate or someone who is looking to start their career within Marketing.

The Role

The main objective of the role is develop and implement strategies for recruiting, retaining, reactivating existing customers and converting to sales through cost effective on line marketing campaigns.

Main responsibilities:
  • Manage some day to day operations including marketing roles covering SEO
  • Design and broadcast email marketing, competitions and promotional campaigns on and off line with a view to maximising traffic and sales.
  • Update the website regularly including updates of homepage, landing pages and upload of new products and product information.
  • Work closely with management to optimise merchandising opportunities from new product and brand launches/ promotional periods and identifying areas in which demand can be created.
  • Liaise with our PPC agency to manage our SEO and PPC strategies to ensure website is fully optimised on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide reporting and analysis on campaigns and web analytics.
  • Proactively explore opportunities for sales growth, and usability and functionality improvements.
  • Measure ROI and profit for all campaigns
  • Work closely with relevant teams to ensure effective marketing of all products on website including homepage and all landing pages.
  • Set and manage an affiliate programme
  • Utilise appropriate social media channels, applying innovative ideas to strengthen the brand and encourage customer retention.'
  • Also, 'Identify new digital marketing opportunities, keeping the brand at the leading edge of digital marketing'.
  • Continually work to upgrade and improve the customer experience to help develop our brand.
  • Liaise with purchasing and suppliers to ensure all products reach website in timely manner. Meet set guidelines for photography standards and product descriptions and look to constantly improve the look and feel of the site in this respect.
  • Oversee the management of the image archive and ensure it provides all the tools required by internal and external users

Candidate Requirements:
  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude with the ability to hit the ground running.
  • Highly organised with some experience of project management and able to prioritise to best achieve maximum results from available resources
  • Proven track record of successful online marketing covering SEO, social media and e-mail.
  • Strong business acumen especially regarding helping achieve the wider business objectives of the company.
  • Able to work independently but also a good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of website analytics
  • Well organised with excellent attention to detail and willing to adopt a hands on approach.
  • Ability to manage several projects at one time and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Used to working in a fast paced environment and able to keep a cool head whilst multi tasking.
  • A result driven individual with a keen interest in fashion.
  • Photo and video editing skills preferred.
  • The successful candidate will have demonstrable knowledge of successful online marketing practices and a strong commercial acumen.
  • You will have a good understanding of acquisition focussed marketing strategies and the ability to implement them. This is as much a tactical role as a strategic planning role.
  • A working knowledge of how affiliates work and an understanding of social media and how Facebook, Instagram & Email can impact on your business

Remuneration:
  • Salary £18,000-£20,000
  • Monday -Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Standard Pension Scheme
