Job Title: Marketing Manager

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Salary: circa £50,000

Our client, a leading provider of supply chain services, with a number of industry awards to their name, and a logistics partner to some of the most well-known and respected brands, are seeking to engage a Marketing Manager to join their expanding business.

Main Purpose of Role

Develop and deliver a marketing plan and strategy aligned to company goals and future vision for growth. Lead annual marketing projects in line with budget and deliver improved lead generation for the business-to-business (B2B) commercial team.

Key Tasks & Accountabilities:

  • Manage the businesses marketing strategy and effective CRM process
  • Supporting the creation of a channel and territory strategy & vision for the business;
  • Identify and monitor competitors, researching market conditions
  • Work on key strategic projects with customers, aiming to influence purchasing behaviour, and support the sales effort in the creation and implementation of innovative and effective trade support activities
  • Generate leads for the business via the creation of engaging content, blogs and reports.
  • Liaise with external agencies to manage PR campaigns and press releases
  • Manage online campaigns, website development, SEO, blogs, whitepapers, e-books and social media
  • Work with design teams to ensure that all collateral is created on time and to budget
  • Support Sales and Marketing teams in the areas of business information, product management, channel materials and trade presentations
  • Perform ad hoc analyses, shopper research projects and trade communications
  • Organisation of events and exhibitions

  • Previous track record in coordinating and managing trade related activities with marketing and sales, supporting NPD launches, delivering tools and presentation materials for customer meetings and tenders
  • Budget management
  • Track record in analysing market data, building insights, and utilising data systems
  • High level of personal organisation
  • Ability to communicate and represent the company in a structured and professional manner
  • Ability to display initiative and interpersonal skills, and able to work with cross-functional groups across multiple levels of the organization to deliver results
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience in defining improvement projects which satisfy customer requirements
  • High quality presentation skills
