Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working as a Service Desk Manager for a successful MSP based in Milton Keynes?
You will be responsible for managing a team of 10-15 Service Desk Engineers, ensuring that SLA's are hit, tickets are managed to recognised quality standards and clients are satisfied with the level of service delivered.

Main Duties of the Role
• Managing the day-to-day running of the Service Desk
• Managing the team of Service Desk engineers, including 1 to 1's and reviews
• Making sure that the team remain efficient constantly with the handling of tickets and requests.
• Providing overflow technical support to the team to ensure that service levels do not drop during busy periods.
• Assisting with the on boarding and occasional recruitment of Service Desk engineers

Your Skills and Experience
• Direct experience within a Service Desk environment ideally within a Managed Service company.
• Experience of managing a team.
• Experience of working to SLAs.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.
• Good knowledge and experience with Exchange and Office 365.
• Good understanding of networking.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 operating systems.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office software
• Experience working with servers (Server 2008, 2012, & 2016)

• £38,000-£45,000 per annum depending on experience
