Are you looking for a new challenge as an LSA from mid September 2019 in the Barnet area?

Have you previously supported post 16 students with SEN(ASD, SLD, PMLD, SEMH and PD)?

About Our Client:

The large establishment in North London caters for students from post 16 and has over 13,000 students on role. They deliver more than 20 subjects across three main campuses, boasting excellent facilities with a state-of-the-art campuses.

Job Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will be required to support:
  • Pupils with autism(low functioning), PMLD and SEMH
  • Personal care
  • Pupils with life skills and community work
  • Pupils who are physically disabled
  • Pupils from post 16
  • Pupils in preparation for starting their professional careers
  • Students in small groups and 1:1
  • Pupils with life skills and promoting independence

Preferred Skills:
  • Team player
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience or displaying a keen interest in supporting SEN pupils on a long term basis
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Subject specialism(i.e. Art, Music or PE) preferred but not essential
