REED Accountancy Reading are working with a well-established, returning client with their search for a contract Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them until mid September with the possibility of further extensions. If you are an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk and are looking for a new challenge we want to hear from you!

This role will be working part time, for 25 hours per week spread over 5 days. The ideal candidate will be available to start work w/e 30th August.

Working within a team of 3, you would be responsible for the full Purchase Ledger on a daily basis.

Reporting into the Finance Controller your duties will include:
  • Purchase Ledger - matching, batching and coding
  • Post invoices
  • Raise weekly and monthly payments
  • Checking supplier code and supplier invoice number
  • Perform monthly reconciliations and reports
  • Petty Cash


Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems is desirable but not required.

We are looking for someone who has over 2 years+ experience in Purchase Ledger and can hit the ground running from day one, the ability to work with your own initiative would be a great advantage.
