We are currently looking to recruit a Qualified Finance Manager to manage our finance function in Warrington . This role is to manage a team of 9 finance professionals on a 12 month fixed term contract

Duties Include

Responsible for producing the monthly management accounts to a very high standard within agreed time-frames, treasury management and KPI reporting.

Will manage, coach and develop the members of the financial reporting team. Will work closely with other members of the finance team. Key areas of responsibility will include:

Responsible for production of the monthly management accounts (P&L, BS, CFS, KPIs) for Parasol, CCA. CAP, BAA, Arnsco and First Freelance

Analyse and comment on actual variances against budget and forecast and input to group board reports. This will principally cover P&L and cash/working capital variances.

Produce and adhere to a monthly timetable for the management accounts team.

Manage group treasury and overdraft utilisation for Parasol and be able to explain key fluctuations.

Assess and improve existing finance systems, controls and processes. Help to implement new systems if required. Document processes and identify single points of failure.

Review all monthly balance sheet reconciliations produced by the team.

Responsible for weekly and monthly KPI reporting

Assist with year end audit process.

Assist in preparation of annual budget and quarterly reforecasts for the Optionis group.

Management of a team of 9 management accountants/assistant management accountants/finance assistants. Performance manage any under performing staff members

Coach, train and develop team members on Dimensions and Excel to improve the quality and effectiveness of the finance function.

Experience and Qualifications Required
  • You must be a Qualified Accountant-ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified.
  • Advanced Excel Skills are also required for this role
  • You must demonstrate experience of producing accurate, robust and reliable information which is consistent across the business
  • Experience of managing treasury
  • You will have proven people management and coaching skills
  • As this role is an contract we will be looking for the desired candidate to start mid September 2019
