Job title: Nursery Assistant - Apprenticeship
Location: City of London
Wage: £175.00 per week
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course
Course entry requirements: GCSEs at grade C/level 4 or above in English and Maths

About the role:

To work as part of a team to ensure every child learns, develops and is safe within the environment. To ensure they are being a responsible member of staff and can communicate clearly with parents. The nursery is bilingual which focuses on French, Mandarin and Russian.

Job duties and responsibilities:
  • Be a key member of staff
  • Contribute towards delivery of nurseries ethos and its aims/objectives
  • To contribute by assisting the facilitation of daily/weekly routine that provides opportunities and experiences to develop in all areas of learning.
  • To assist with the programme of immersion of an additional language within the classroom.
  • To demonstrate exemplary practice within the school always

The successful candidate will have the following:
  • Working knowledge of relevant systems, equipment, processes and procedures
  • Competent in a range of IT systems and software
  • Ability to work with others to achieve objectives and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing
  • Accuracy and ability to prioritise and organise own workload
