We have a fantastic opportunity for a Groups Co-ordinator to join our team. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and receive a competitive salary of £16,000 - £18,000 per annum. You will primarily focus on Bay Hotels estate, however training of the Coast & Country and Country Living hotels estate will be provided to ensure full knowledge and development across all three brands.

Shearings Holidays is the UK's largest coach tour operator and is part of the Specialist Leisure Group. The business has coach holidays at its core, but has an extensive tour operating programme outside of coach holidays, including River Cruise, Escorted tours by air, Worldwide, and UK short breaks by car.

Key responsibilities of our Groups Co-ordinator will include:

- Deal with all group in a courteous and professional manner displaying a clear and comprehensive knowledge of the hotels and their facilities

- Record full and accurate details of bookings in accordance with Company and hotel procedures

- Make clients aware of the full terms of business, including the cancellations policy and the need to confirm bookings prior to arrival

- Provide hotels with a comprehensive function sheet (Handover) of the up and coming groups or events they have

- Deal with the booking of third-party services in accordance with Company and hotel procedures

- Deal with complaints/problems politely and make every effort to resolve these

- Support all members of the Team to achieve and maintain standards to the highest possible level in respect of service, hygiene and Health & Safety

- Assist in the production of the monthly business report and liaise with your Line Manager and the Revenue team.

Skills and experience required to become our Groups Co-ordinator:

- Hotel reservations / C&E and group experience desirable but not essential

- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

- Customer focused "No problem" mentality

- Smart professional appearance

- Passionate about standards

- Commercially minded

- Keen eye for detail

- Excellent organisational skills

- A sense of humour
