Event & Storeroom Coordinator

Working for a local charity you will be working with the Event's team and will be collating and preparing all stock for the events from picking stock, packing, overseeing delivery to site and returning all goods to the storeroom cleaned and in good condition.

To also be accountable for all stock within the storeroom facility, and monitoring the movement of all stock for all events. Developing and maintaining an effective database in order that all items can be accounted for and located as required.

Daily Duties:

* Organise the use of the storeroom area for maximum efficiency and care of valuable materials

* Develop and maintain an accurate database of event materials and stock held within the storeroom area

* Manage the stock and monitor the movement of items to and from Events and other promotional opportunities

* Take responsibility for the picking and packing of items required for each event, following a systematic and detailed approach to ensure the correct items are taken to each Event

* Supervise loading and unloading of event transport

* Collate loss and damage reports following each event

* Work alongside Contractors on site in the lead up to each event assisting in the build and taking responsibility for deliveries

* Supervise the distribution of crates and other items to the relevant area on site

* Work with the branding team on event sites to ensure the correct banding is allocated to the right locations

* Organise the logistics and catering or other requirements for The Volunteer Briefing for each event

Person Specification:

* Analytical and problem solving skills

* 1-2 years' experience of working within the events industry, including stock management

* Proven ability to manage systems and processes

* Educated to degree level or equivalent

* Fit, reliable, hardworking and dedicated

* Clean driving licence

* Previous experience of working within the Charity sector

* Fork lift licence

* Strong administrative and organisational skills

* Excellent communications skills, written and verbal across all levels

* Outstanding organisational skills

* Must have great attention to detail

* Assertiveness and leadership qualities
