Salary £42,000 - 52,000

We are on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to act as CRE (Construction) to support a growing portfolio of works in tendered projects on national frameworks.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of temporary and permanent works design and interfaces within the construction team. Our client has won a 5-year framework contract for a national Route for clients Network Rail. The projects will include a wide variety of maintenance design and build schemes including properties and structures disciplines.

You will take responsibility for the day to day management and coordination of engineering activities on the contract working with our delivery team. Liaising with sub-contract design consultants and our in-house delivery teams, you will be responsible for reviewing design submissions, and contributing to monthly meetings with our client's project team and Asset Engineers to progress design projects to a successful conclusion.

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in civils, properties and structures projects, as this will be essential to meet the demands of this multi-disciplinary contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of site management on a variety of projects, which is essential to fulfil the role.

A key function of the role will be reviewing sub-contract designer's deliverables to ensure designs fulfil the clients remit and comply with the standards and regulations applicable to the contract, considering constructability, third party interfaces and Safe by Design principles.

What you will have:

* Minimum HNC level education in Engineering or Construction

* CRE (Construction) - experience within this role previously is essential

* Minimum 10 years site management experience, demonstrating the delivery of civils and structures projects.

* Railway Safety Qualifications - PTS


* Clear and effective communication skills

* Excellent organisational skills

* Good level of ability using Microsoft Office
