Are you looking to join a progressive organisation? Do you have a background of working within a busy Sales Office? If so, this is a fantastic opportunity for to join Heald Ltd during an exciting period of rapid growth.

We are looking for applicants who are motivated and have good communication skills adaptable to all forums ie telephone, email and written. The chosen candidate will be proactive with drive and ambition and will ideally have a background of working within a busy sales office environment. However, this is not essential as full in-house training will be given on both the role and our full product range. There is a requirement of ability to positively convert an enquiry into a sale when appropriate, ensuring that the customers' requirements and needs are considered.

Reporting to the Sales Supervisor, you will have the following duties:

Key responsibilities: -

* Be the first point of contact for customers via telephone and email

* Answer customer queries and generate quotes

* Follow up on quotes to increase sales

* Update the quote and order logs as well as the other documents

* Administration of customer files, ensuring compliance documentation is maintained

* Ensure all client documentation is compiled and retained in accordance with company procedures and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

* There will be future opportunities for travelling and attending exhibitions.

Key skills and experience

You will have great customer care skills and the ability to work with a range of different customers, providing exceptional customer service, both internally and externally. You will have good organisational and time keeping skills, as well as a high level of accuracy. You will have excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office, particularly word and excel. You will also have the ability to work flexibly in order to provide support to the business.

Hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Part time hours may also be considered.

Salary is dependent on experience.
