Are you a dedicated Maths Teacher looking for work in September?

Celsian Education is working with a growing number of secondary schools in Chesterfield and looking for Teachers of Mathematics to work on day to day and long-term contracts in local schools to you.

You will deliver inspiring Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils, driving them to give a big focus on such an important subject. You will help students prepare for exams and give them the skills they need to achieve grades above what they ever thought possible.

You will have the ability to deliver consistently good and outstanding teaching and understand how to nurture good behaviour for learning. Excellent communication skills are essential as well as the ability to build relationships with both children and the staff around them.

Our schools need staff to cover day to day absences, as well as part and full-time long-term assignments, so no matter what your circumstances are we can find work for you.


- Be eligible to work in the UK

- Mathematics Specialism B.Ed., PGCE, CertEd, Learners First, SCITT, Teach First and hold QTS status

- Excellent understanding of the secondary curriculum

- Experience of supporting SEND in a mainstream setting

- Speech and language development
