Oracle ERP Finance Analyst (Maternity Cover)

The Role:

To provide Maternity Cover and contribute to ERP projects that are managed in IT for the various user sites in the EMEA region.

The role will require active involvement in projects & roll-outs with the ability to contribute solutions to business needs and the ability to train others and offer advice on best practice in the use of ERP systems.

Duties for the Oracle ERP Finance Analyst will include:

  • The Role will be primarily ERP financials related with a good understanding of the integration into other areas of ERP systems.
  • Support end users in all business functions, in the use of Oracle ERP applications.
  • Work across multiple projects and support day to day work.
  • Assist with the implementation of new ERP modules and contribute to software upgrades & testing.
  • Liaise with IT associates in Olathe, Taiwan & Europe to ensure adherence to global practices, corporate policy and offer support as required.
  • Review business needs and use system knowledge to provide workable solutions to business needs.
  • Contribute to best practice maximising use of systems.
  • Provide support to helpdesk on escalated problems and issues. In particular around Financial to include; year/month end.
  • Prepare specifications and design documents on new developments.
  • Accept and complete projects and other miscellaneous duties as required.
  • The successful candidate may be required to work out of hours for support periodically should the situation arise.
  • It is likely that from time to time some travel will be required

The successful Oracle ERP Finance Analyst will have:

  • 5+ years' experience of Oracle and or other ERP systems - Essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and highly motivated self-starter.
  • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel)
