Account Manager - Taunton - £neg

My client is a market leader in personal care and beauty products. They are looking to recruit an Account Manager for their head office site near Taunton, Reporting to the Commercial Director, the successful Account Manager will join a friendly and motivated Sales team based in Wellington, Somerset and will work closely with the companys' own brand team who are based on the outskirts of London.

Key Account Manager Responsibilities will include:
- Manage day to day customer contact.
- Ensure effective communication and management of critical paths to the customer.
- Brief new projects within the business and monitor and drive the progression of all developments through the business.
- Manage & forecast account sales, contribution & volume, maximising profitability.
- Manage feasibility costing and pricing of new projects.
- Identify cost saving and new business opportunities within existing customer base & potential new customers

The Successful candidate will have:
-Previous Account management experience
-Excellent communication skills
-Previous forecasting experience
-Be commercially focused with strong negotiation skills.
-Be organised, have analytical thinking skills and able to work both independently and as one of the team.
-Cosmetic experience would be an advantage but not essential.

This role is a Mon- Friday role ( 08:30 am- 4:30 pm Mon-Thurs and 08:30 am - 5:00 pm Fri
37hrs) paying a competitive salary with excellent benefits. This role will involve occasional travel therefore a full, clean driving license is essential. The role is commutable from Taunton, Exeter, Bridgwater, Bristol, Yeovil and may suit a person that has previously worked as a account executive, key account manager, client account manager
