Salary: up to £80,000 pro rata

Our client is a leading global events organisation who are currently experiencing an exciting period of transformation and growth. This has meant a significant investment in their finance processes and systems to enable the London HQ to function better and help provide a best in class finance support to the business. Reporting to Head of Finance, Control & Change, this role will be part of the Finance Transformation Workstream. Working closely with the Head of Finance & Change the role will be to support the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations global implementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct a Training Needs Analysis and define the training requirements for key user groups,
  • Develop and implement a training plan
  • Prepare training materials (in English) and other training collateral (cheat sheets, quick reference guides, etc, in various appropriate media formats).
  • Training materials are likely to include changes to process and policy, as well as new systems.
  • User groups will include finance professionals, plus purchase requisitioners and approvers from the wider business.
  • Applications to be included in the training will include D365FO plus associated budgeting, journal-entry, reporting, Document repository and BI applications.
  • Manage the translation of documents
  • Deliver UAT Training to multi-national group (based in London for UAT)
  • Deliver train-the-trainer training for super-user(s) with third-party SI to end users.
  • Presenting the new system and associated processes in a positive and dynamic manner
  • Based in Paddington area, but may involve some international travel to support early go-lives (e.g. Most likely Russia and Turkey, but possibly China, Ukraine and India).
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Experience & Knowledge
  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in complex multi-national businesses, especially multi-currency.
  • Prior experience of training Finance communities and wider businesses as part of the new Finance system implementation
  • Ideally have a formal training qualification such as TAP or CIPD.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
  • Experience in an event/exhibition business.
  • Excellent communication and the ability to maintain strong relationships across all key programme stakeholders in a number of countries.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage segments of work.
  • Ability to manage expectations and deliver results.
  • An additional language would be desirable (ideally Russian, Mandarin or Turkish).
