My client is a growing, world leading manufacturer of high performance, environmentally 'green' water-based printing inks for the garment and textile industry, based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Working with major international brands and fashion retailers, they have a global reach with worldwide sales distribution channels. They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to assist the Company Accountant. Role/Responsibilities: • Sales Ledger including credit control and banking • Cash Book including daily bank reconciliations • Petty Cash • Purchase Ledger • Processing of credit card statements and expenses payments • Month End procedures • Producing daily / monthly reports for distribution to Management Skills/Experience Required • Previous experience in a similar finance role is essential • AAT qualification (or equivalent) • Knowledge of Sage 1000 desirable • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast paced office environment • Excellent communication and organisation skills and an ability to prioritise tasks • A hands-on, flexible and adaptable approach • Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office including excel, word and outlook is required.
