As a Compliance Manager, your role is to keep the Bank and our customers safe. You will be a key member of the Compliance Advisory Team, supporting teams across the Bank by providing timely and appropriate advice on FCA regulations. This is a detail oriented role, focussing on regulatory incidents and breaches, regulatory awareness and regulatory reporting.
So what would you be doing?...
• Providing day to day advice on implications of FCA and other regulatory requirements specifically within the SME or wholesale space
• Reporting on regulatory breaches and incidents to an Executive Risk Committee
• Supporting the Bank's regulatory change agenda
• Providing timely and pragmatic advice to make sure our Conduct Risk obligations are met and that fair outcomes are delivered for customers

We always support colleagues to develop their skills. But to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to do most of these wonderful things...

• Extensive experience within an Advisory Compliance role, however not the Financial Crime arena (we have other exciting roles in this space!)
• Experience in developing and overseeing Conduct Risk and third party arrangements
• Excellent knowledge of FCA and PRA handbooks/rulebooks
• Retail banking or financial services background would be beneficial
• Ability to interpret complex regulations into simplified text for colleagues
