Foxes Recruitment are recruiting for our client based in Beaumont Leys LE4.
As a Marketing Assistant you will be undertaking daily tasks to ensure the functionality of the marketing department activities and supporting the Marketing Coordinator in organising various projects.
Responsibilities include assisting in organising campaigns, projects, product instructions and developing strategies to successfully run the marketing department for the UK.
Main responsibilities:
  • Support marketing coordinator in organising various projects
  • Support Marketing Coordinator in organising various projects
  • Supporting the Marketing Coordinator in bringing new products to market
  • Designing user instructions for existing and new products
  • Photography of existing and new products
  • Liaising with the product development and purchasing team to obtain all necessary information to launch new products
  • Design engaging campaigns, literature, adverts etc.
  • Create and update existing and new literature such as brochures, price lists & newsletters
  • Assist in the organisation of events and exhibitions
  • Compose and post online content on the company's website and social media accounts as and when needed
  • Design and distribute new products packs/leaflets so the sales team know all there is to know about a product before it hits our warehouse
  • Weigh and measure products as and when needed, if information cannot be obtained by the purchasing/PD teams
  • Take control of graphic templates: design, produce and add to the website
  • Work closely with any outsourced suppliers such as the design agency and videographer
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant or similar role
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organised and self-motivated
  • Ability to take control of own work-load and confident self-starter
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Adobe software, Mail Chimp & CMS
  • Quick, eager learner with hands on skills
  • Excellent communication skills
