ETL Developer Job, Cardiff, Up to £40K + Benefits

based in modern offices in Cardiff Bay this financial firm is currently going through huge digital changes and is looking for someone to join their Data Architecture team to assist with this migration. The offices in Cardiff are a vibrant and exciting place to work with a range of work place entertainments and facilities to suit all. Your new role

You will be working closely with the Data vault team to facility the move from traditional data management to processes which are data vault based. playing a part in this multi skilled Agile team you will develop test and maintain vital business systems.
ensuring to share the knowledge you gain through the team and always ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained.

What you'll need to succeed

· 4+ years solid development experience within a commercial environment
· Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
· Some experience of working with multiple data sources and coding languages
· Knowledge of SQL programming and code optimisation.

· Proficient knowledge of PLSQL and Oracle native processes
· Awareness of cloud technology particularly AWS.
· Knowledge of automated delivery processes
· Some experience designing and building autonomous data pipelines

· Hands on experience of best engineering practices
· Experience of working with large datasets
· Ability to write efficient code and comfortable undertaking system optimisation and performance tuning tasks
· Experience working with in a windows or unix environment with the ability to perform basic database administration tasks

· Comfortable working with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB
