Technical Support Manager

We are seeking a Technical Support Manager to join a multi award-winning software provider based in Bourne End. You will be responsible managing a growing team of 6 Support Engineers, overseeing the support function and ensuring that all users receive prompt assistance on any issues raised.

As the Technical Support Manager you will draw on your experience of providing customer support as well utilising your knowledge of SaaS products, hosted applications, network services and hardware. You will be working in a Microsoft Cloud environment so knowledge of Microsoft technology would be highly desirable.

The ideal Technical Support Manager will be a confident escalation point for troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving a wide variety of technical / infrastructure issues while providing updates and solutions within agreed timeframes, always ensuring the customer always receives excellent service.

Further skills and experience required for the Technical Support Manager:
  • Previous line management experience within a similar environment is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technology and cloud software.
  • Excellent experience supporting Windows Active Directory as well as the MS Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to support internal and external users on Windows 7, 8 & 10.
  • Understanding of Windows Servers and standard network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.).

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
