About the Job

Do you want to be involved in an exciting growth period, working with a company that makes the finest fantasy miniatures in the world?

Are you passionate about ensuring Games Workshop spends the right amount of time and money on IT projects through effective and efficient delivery of an IT programme that you have developed?

We are in the middle of a change journey, and we're looking for the right person to join us, to help drive and support IT systems and behaviour change, and position this important business to allow for future growth.

As diverse as our IP portfolio, is the range of IT systems that we use. In order to reduce complexity to allow growth, we are launching a series of IT projects and so we are looking for an experienced individual to lead and develop our IT Project Managers in overseeing these projects.

Reporting to the Group FD, you will produce and deliver an IT programme plan with up-to-date timelines for all phases of every project. Key milestones and all inter-dependencies will be highlighted and addressed. You will be responsible for ensuring that clear, agreed budgets are set for each project and that spend is tracked against this by creating monthly reports on expected and actual spend.

We know it is challenging to always ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed of what is happening on a regular basis; from the steering group members and project teams being continuously informed on the status of each project, to producing clear and transparent reports/updates for the board. For the right person though, this will be a challenge to be relished.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and very well established company that continues to lead the industry and delight our customers. If you want to be part of our exciting future and help deliver the change agenda for GW, we want to hear from you!

Working at Games Workshop

Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills or experience.
