My client are an independent retail & marketing group headquartered in Andover, Hampshire. With over 50 years' history and over 500 members, they support a network of Independent Electrical Retailers with product access whilst also allowing customers to buy direct from their new eCommerce platform. As part of a large-scale buying group they support their business network with central POS marketing support as well as access to a greater consumer reach. Due to continued expansion of their digital capabilities the team has been growing steadily for the past few years, and we are now recruiting the job of Online Content Marketing Assistant to join the team.

Your new role
As the Online Content Marketing Assistant you will be responsible for managing product content online on the eCommerce platforms. You will ensure the correct information is uploaded to the website in order to reflect changing product lines & promotions, whilst reflecting a professional and accurate brand image. You will support in the day to day operational requirements of the website, including uploading images and banners to the website, providing content for brand pages. You will support the Social Media Assistant regarding product information where required to supply accurate and timely product information for social posts, including competitions, and liaise with other department in regards to product information and pricing.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have some experience, working or academic, in Digital Marketing to understand and carry out the process of uploading web content. You will be organised, methodical and have excellent attention to detail in order to maintain the professional website look & feel. You will have the ability to use basic Adobe tools to resize images, and possess strong written English skills in order to create and edit product listing information. Ideally you will have strong data entry skills, with ability to use either Excel or SAP.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary between £20000 - £23000 plus benefits including pension, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, and an early finish every other Friday. You will join and growing team and develop your skills in digital & eCommerce marketing.
