This Major Division manufactures and distributes a range of bespoke fluid handling and pumping solutions for applications in the Oil, Gas, Process, Petrochem, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Bio-Chem, Process, Power, Paint, Pulp, Food, Beverage, Industrial, Water, Waste and many other sectors.


Managing and developing an existing account base on a UK with Major End Users, Contractors and OEMs,. Following up and putting together quotes and proposals with new and existing accounts to increase the conversation rates / Pump selection & pricing / quotations & conversion / 3D product design amendments / upkeep & management of the drawing database & technical construction files / compliance with standards & specifications Customer care & technical support.


The role will involve selling Pumping Projects in the UK through EPC Contractors and key End User Accounts. Projects will vary from £50K - £1 million, with an average between £50K-100K. The role will involve working with these accounts and visiting them where necessary and put together proposals and contracts for these clients

  • Cost and Margin Calculations
  • High attention to detail
  • Create and monitor quotes
  • Liaise with Customers verbally and written
  • Liaise with Customer Service
  • Liaise with Development and Production Departments
  • Manage Sales Project from cradle to grave
  • Create Variant BOMS on ERP
  • Create Project drawings on CAD
  • Take ownership and responsibility for work
  • Work as a team player but also be able and competent to work independently
  • Constant will to learn form others and to self-educate


The successful candidate should be customer aware, computer literate with experience of MS Office applications, such as Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Word.

Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills both verbally and written are essential along with a sound numeric aptitude, attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team and also independently.

This position would ideally suit a candidate who wishes to advance with a progressive company, as full training will be provided. They offer an excellent working environment, competitive salary and benefits package.

The role would suit an individual with an engineering background and ideally a couple of years experience in a commercial role such as sales engineer, proposals engineer, applications engineer etc.

The role is based in their Southern Office
