An exciting opportunity has arisen for an internet & music-obsessed Community & Social Media Executive to be at the forefront of a rapidly expanding online community of musicians and music fans.

As Community & Social Media Executive, you'll help shape the day-to-day content output of Pirate Studios, flexing our tone of voice to help engage, entertain and inspire our community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for new music and be a confident communicator on all social media platforms.

You'll have your finger on the pulse of trending topics and work within the content team to help establish Pirate Studios as a genuine music influencer / tastemaker. In addition to this, you'll be responsible for inbound and outbound messaging across our social platforms, assisting our customers when they have questions around studios bookings or new product developments.

Pirate Studios is the world's largest network of music studios. We operate 400 rehearsal, DJ and production studios across the UK, US and mainland Europe with an innovative, tech-centred 24/7 model.

But we don't just stop at studio hire. Pirate Studios runs regular live streams unearthing the best in new music, festival stage takeovers, nationwide talent search programmes and ambassadorship arrangements with high profile artists.

afraid to push the boundaries when it comes to tone of voice and reactive content creation
- A music lover - you love new music and have your finger on the pulse when it comes to new releases, pop culture
happenings and emerging talent
- A creative - you have a flare for language and will happily pitch new ideas for content
- A multi-tasker - you can think on your feet and stay on top of customer comms, content calendars, publishing
schedules and reporting
- A collaborator - you're a team player and can confidently communicate with people from across the business
- A data geek - you understand data and how content performance insights can impact future recommendations

What will you be doing?

- Create and manage the publishing of content calendars across Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and Facebook
- Respond to customer queries and look out for opportunities to proactively engage with our community cross-
- Create copy in support of our social posts - ensuring you understand our tone of voice and are confident in
evolving it where appropriate
- Pitch content ideas for our always-on presence and build those ideas into our ongoing content calendar
- Provide basic insights reporting on our always-on content, looking for opportunities to improve and refine our
- Upload and manage the content on our YouTube channel - ensuring correct tags, title and descriptions are
- Be on the hunt for content opportunities, having your finger on the pulse of what's hot and what's not
