About the role
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller with significant credit control experience to join our business based in Bradford. The role is offered on a One Year Fixed Term Contract.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • To validate and reconcile all data required for outstanding debts on the ledger (priority as determined by Finance Manager).
  • Investigate reason for non-customer payment and report back
  • Work with the customer and the team to resolve the causes of outstanding debt, recommending process changes as appropriate
  • Troubleshoot all monthly non-DD customers and ensure as many as possible are on DD
  • Work with the customer to collect outstanding debts
  • Ensure customer records in SAP and Proclaim are aligned in terms
  • Liaise with Consultancy team to resolve debts that have arisen due to customer dispute
  • Other additional Finance tasks as required within the team
  • Monthly and adhoc reporting as required by management
  • To prepare management information Reports for internal distribution in a timely manner
  • General administrative duties such as, but not limited to answering the phone, internal post distribution, posting out external mail such as invoices
  • To carry out responsibilities with due regard to the organisations Equality & Diversity policy and adhering to all Capita policies and procedures.

Education & Qualifications
  • Educated to GCSE standard
  • Experience of working in a finance department
  • Experience of delivering excellent Customer Service
  • Educated to AAT level / Degree level in Finance preferably (Desirable)

Technical Skills
  • High degree of computer literacy to include a strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), particularly Excel
  • MUST have recent experience of using SAP within the customer accounts modules
