We are looking for a Practice Manager to manage a busy Skipton-based law firm in liaison with the Directors to ensure the everyday smooth running of the office and its staff. The Practice Manager has responsibility to varying degrees for compliance, HR, marketing and facilities management throughout the practice. It is expected that the ideal candidate will come from an HR, marketing or compliance background within a law firm. This is a senior role requiring knowledge of what makes a law firm tick and first class organisation, administrative and communication skills as well as the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Key Tasks include: Compliance HR Marketing Facilities Management We are looking for someone who has a professional, helpful and friendly manner in all dealings. The right candidate will be able to multi task and manage their own work load. They will have excellent grammar and attention to detail. Education/Experience A degree and/or post-graduate qualification in Marketing/HR/Governance or similar A minimum of 5 years experience working in a professional services organisation Knowledge/ Experience of the legal profession Excellent organisational skills Touch typing qualification/ability to type own work Computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
