Our client, a technology based financial company which operates a number of consumer products in the UK, is currently hiring for a Complaints Investigator. Working within the complaints team, you will be responsible for investigating cases, analysing information and preparing tailored responses to complainants. You must possess confidence to challenge existing processes to identify improvements; not only within complaint handling, but also other business processes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct complaint investigations, reaching an outcome based on the merits of each case
  • Prepare comprehensive complaint responses, communicating outcomes clearly and concisely
  • Analyse and evaluate information, perform root cause analysis to understand the reason behind complaints
  • Identify areas of our systems and processes that may cause complaints and implement ways to improve them
  • Produce MI
  • To undertake other general administrative and professional duties consistent with the purpose of the post as required

Requirements
  • Experience in complaint investigation and handling, including complaints received via the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS)
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations and guidance in relation to complaints, redress and root cause analysis
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to distill a message clearly and succinctly
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Organised and able to meet targets
  • Work independently as well as part of a team

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm.
