Ashcroft school are now recruiting for a General Teacher to work in our Nurture department at the School House in Droylsden.

As our Nurture teacher...
You will implement and deliver a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum to KS3 pupils. You will monitor overall progress of your pupils and will encourage them to achieve their full potential. You will present them with a safe environment in which to learn alongside a supportive team. During your work day you will help our pupils develop personal and social skills within the setting. You will assess, record and report appropriately, use approved strategies and systems, provide detailed written evaluations and accurate analysis to the leadership team for your pupils.
You will demonstrate a commitment to GDPR and confidentiality within your work and will adhere to the together trusts policies and procedures at all times.

About You...
You will hold a relevant qualification, have a strong background in a similar role that can be evidenced, you will be adaptable to your working environment due to the people we support. You will be friendly and approachable to pupils and your colleagues alike and will be able to manage challenging behaviour with training and support. Working as part of a large team that supports many pupils you will work to our values and be flexible to support the needs of the service.
