Established in 2006 and based in the centre of Worthing West Sussex, this company is a solutions provider of IT Management Solutions with the highest accreditations from IT Management vendors. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing company and work with some large accounts in order to continue our expected growth plans.

You will need to be an energetic self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach to business, with experience of commercially managing and mapping medium to enterprise accounts at multiple levels including C-Level executives across business and technology

Be able to prioritise efficiently to ensure a balance between championing a customer's requirements while generating revenue. You will need to be flexible, with a can-do attitude and take pride in achieving high standards and great results, have excellent communication skills and an ability to use database platforms. You will also need to be first class to support conversations and communication at all levels within the accounts.

You will demonstrate excellent leadership skills and be able to lead, coach and mentor multi-cultural and diverse members of the sales team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Plan and direct ongoing sales team enablement and training using practical and proven training methodologies
- Oversee and assist in sales presentations and proposals
- Give regular feedback, support and coaching to the sales team
- Manage the activities and performance of the sales team
- Review CRM usage across team and highlight corrections where required
- Co-ordinate sales action plans for individual salespeople
- Oversee and chair monthly sales meetings

Reporting, Procedures and Strategies
- Monitor the achievement of sales objectives by the sales team
- Review lost sales and customer accounts
- Track, collate and interpret sales figures
- Responsibility for sales forecasts in team and external vendors
- Generate timely sales/activity reports
- Communicate and liaise with other company functions/depts. to ensure achievement of sales objectives
- Monthly updates to Sales Director on team & individual achievements

Recruitment and Performance
- Provide ongoing evaluation and yearly appraisals of sales staff
- Set individual goals with sales team members
- Assist in sales staff recruitment
o Discuss recruitment requirements with Sales Director
- New Staff On boarding
o Managing programs for initial training period
- Responsible for performance based disciplinary action
o Highlighting areas of concern to employee
o Setting goals to correct behaviour
o Monitoring improvements
o Review with Sales Director
o Take any agreed actions
- Responsible for employee terminations
- Conducting the termination with HR presence
