Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of life critical devices, supporting industries including, Medical, Mining, Marine, Oil & Gas and Defence. Due to heavy investment and growth they now seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

Electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant equipment including packaging machinery, conveyors, drying lines, ovens and extruders.
PLC fault finding.
Repair of onsite robots preferred
Involvement in continuous improvement projects.
Experience required:

The successful Maintenance Engineer will have a relevant qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering (Apprentice, HND or HNC qualified).
Previous experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong PLC understanding - ideally to modification level (Siemens S7, Mitsubishi or Omron).
Robot experience would be a distinct advantage - preferably Kawasaki but not essential
Ability to read mechanical drawings and repair pneumatic issues.
Due to the nature of the products that are manufactured, this is also a clean environment so the ability and willingness to abide by medical standards is crucial for this role.

Working a double day shift, in return our client are offering a very competitive salary of up to £43k plus fantastic benefits.
