QSHE Manager - Building services engineering

I am recruiting for a huge well respected building services company, my client is a high profile company specialising in commercial and domestic buildings and they are currently in need of a QHSE manager to visit various sites in London, you will be liasing with the directors of the company to promote and maintain a safe working environment.

The principle function of this position is to ensure the Company's Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) policies are implemented consistently across the company.

To develop, implement and monitor the Integrated Management System (IMS). In particular to review all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental related strategies, policies and procedures, risk assessments and safe working practices throughout the Company in accordance with National and local Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental and Legislative standards.

To work proactively with Directors and Managers to establish and maintain efficient and safe systems of work and a safety culture and safe environment.

Duties

To ensure that the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental arrangements meet the requirements of the Company, our Customers, and our legal obligations, and that policies are implemented and maintained across company operations.
The post holder will also assist internally with the provision of safety, health and environmental advice and guidance and undertake any reviews, audits, inspections, surveys and reports as well as manage and co-ordinate the Company accreditations, certifications and reviews from the varying trade bodies and external auditors for our current ISO certifications. Additionally, support the Company in achieving other recognised trade body standards and ISO certification supporting with the growth of the business and Customer needs.
To manage and control all reporting requirements to meet business and Customer needs.
The role requires active participation at all levels, from strategy through to implementation as well as actively influencing and motivating a variety of people to ensure commitment to the overall QHSE systems.
The role is office based and requires regular travel to sites (all London), contracts and projects with a need to review and support our operational standards.
Hours of work 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday to Friday), However flexibility is required in order to complete the duties associated with the role.
Able to travel across the UK where required
Experience of ISO 9001:2015 and 14001 standards
NEBOSH National Construction Certificate or NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent are desirable, and/or experience of health and safety in the construction industrySalary Negotiable, depending on experience
