This role is within a process-driven Accounting team and reports directly to the Finance Manager.

Description
  • Accounts Assistant
  • Updating and maintaining the client invoice registers to assist with the timely processing and
  • payment of supplier invoices.

  • • Partnering with Accounts Payable to provide the client and suppliers with support should they have
  • invoice-related queries.

  • • Assisting the Corporate Accountants with month-end and quarter-end financial reporting tasks,
  • including but not limited to: bank reconciliations, expense analysis and preparation of
  • accrual/prepayment journals.

  • • Assisting the Corporate Accountants with the preparation of year-end papers for auditors, providing
  • supporting information and liaising with the staff and Surveyors responsible for these costs.

  • • Providing ad-hoc reports and reconciliations to assist the team with decision-making.

  • • Updating and maintaining lease details on the central database with accuracy and attention to
  • detail.

  • • Responding to and liaising with the PMA Helpdesk to resolve general queries.

  • • Adhering to the PMA quarterly timetable for key processes and operations

  • • Full awareness of the documented processes and procedures relevant to the role

Profile
  • Accounts Assistant
  • Attention to detail, specifically when updating database information.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to listen to the stakeholders request, interpret and provide a resolution.
  • Ability to deal with high volumes of work and prioritise accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High level of IT knowledge, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Autonomy and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility and commitment to completing the task in hand.
  • Enthusiasm to learn about the company, department and property regulations.
