Our client is currently looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join their well-known professional services organisation. Within this exciting new role, you will be working in an organisation who really know how to look after their staff. The team you will be working within are a highly experienced, friendly group of professionals. You will be an experienced Bid Manager with a strong background of planning and managing teams throughout the bid process - supporting the business to ensure growth and renewal targets are met.

With offices based in the West End, this is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm. The annual salary for this position is £45,000 plus excellent bonuses and company benefits.

Acting as the face of the team, you will bring commercial awareness, a consultative approach and be highly influential. Along with your team you will create high-standard client-facing documentation and presentations. Working closely across all functional departments you will be managing the workflow of complex bids - ensuring bid responses are delivered on time and are of high quality. Adhering to and documenting bid processes, you will ensure all processes are captured and shared with the team. You will use your experience to challenge contributions and methodology to promote quality.

Taking detailed briefs from clients and internal contacts, you will assist in planning and managing teams through the bid process - ensuring a high standard of client materials and collateral. You will provide a single point of contact for internal and external clients for business development enquiries and will manage the monitoring, maintenance and development of the SharePoint content database.

Person Specification
  • The confidence to liaise effectively with clients, prospects, senior managers and SME's.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in bid management with strong management and delegation experience
  • Strong planning, communication and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, delivering high quality work against tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proven sales process knowledge and track record of writing industry leading and commercially successful bids
  • Commercial acumen, understanding of business drivers, broad solutions, and the outsourcing market
