Venatu recruitment group are currently working in partnership with our client who are an industry leader in the manufacture and service of lifting equipment within the marine and oil & gas industries.


* The creation of individual project files for all new service jobs.

* Ensuring that prior to the commencement of all service jobs that proper authorisation has been obtained from the customer.

* The mobilisation of each project to ensure that people and equipment are at the required site on the required date.

* Arranging all service personnel flights /hotels etc...

* Approval of all Service engineers expenses to agreed guide lines

* The building of service files to ensure all relevant information is captured and available for review if required.

* Invoicing out all service jobs on the required dates at the required frequency.

* A day to day reporting on the performance of service jobs to flag immediately to management if jobs are failing on either cost or delivery.

* Monthly reporting of all open projects to support the monthly management accounts

* Monthly reporting of all open projects (Work in progress) to facilitate the accurate production of the accounts.

* Liaise with external third parties to ensure the smooth and cost effective running of the department.

* Provide out of hours service for flight and hotel bookings on a rotational basis

Key Skills and Qualifications

* Strong organisational skills

* Ability to see the big picture while focusing on both the process and procedures necessary to produce the deliverables

* Have confidence to work independently

* Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

* Ability to meet and establish deadlines

* Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

* Sound knowledge of Microsoft products, with Excel being essential, and accounting software(s) [preferably SAP]

* Office/administration courses along with financial system qualifications/experience

* Have an experience of working in a finance office.

* Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills - and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with fellow managers, and external third parties.

* First rate organisation skills

* Hands-on skill set
