Adecco are recruiting a Supply Chain Site Manager (Field Sales Management) to join our well known International client's business on a full time, ongoing permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team within a large, growing and very reputable organisation in South Lanarkshire.

Work Process: Overseeing and managing the MSM Site and Customer partnership relation

Key Process Responsibilities (Task), Authority (Empowerment), and Performance Accountability (Results)

The potential candidates should have an understanding of various manufacturing processes, mechanical / electrical background and experienced in Process Improvements, Lean and Supply Chain Management. We will interview initially via phone / web-ex and follow up with face to face meetings

This will be a single associate site. As a single associate site, there will be a requirement for the associate to be involved with sourcing and purchasing of Non-Stk / Spot Buy orders. The candidate will need to be a self-starter and will be working with associates located at our office in the Czech Republic. Travel is generally not required for this position, but maybe required during training.

Managing all on-site FSM Associates


Maintain all associate records regarding vacation, hire date, performance reviews, and sick time

Ensure that storeroom is attended per contract with Customer

Ensure that all associates follow the Customer's rules on safety

Ensure all associates are well informed of all policy, daily memo's and announcements

Ensure that all associates are trained in the standard operating procedures for MSM

Ensure ISO Compliance

Assist in the identification and search for replacements for vacant positions

Performance Accountability:

Contract review to ISO Standards

Maintain all data on associate records

Measure feedback from the Customer

Bi-weekly associate team meetings

Monthly reports

Promote and represent business to the Customer


Discuss all Customer Satisfaction promotions with the Customer

Establish and maintain a Professional relationship with key Customer contacts

Oversee the generation of performance reports for the Customer

Performance Accountability:

Customer surveys

Service level reports

Supplier performance

Internal audits of SOP/JWI's

Quarterly Site Presentation to Plant Management

Improving Customer Processes


Identify areas for savings through process improvement

Supply the Customer with monthly cost savings

Work with supplier representatives to improve processes through improved products and technology

Product Standardisation

Attend regular Customer production meetings

Communicate Customer requests with management

Work with Customer regarding forecasts, dead stock, obsolete inventory, and excess inventory

Performance Accountability:

Monthly cost savings report

Inventory value reports

Managing the logistics of the storeroom and office


Monitor inventory levels- service levels

Train and Coach all associates in SOP/JWI's

Approve all stock adjustments

Assign daily cycle counting

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Performance Accountability:

Internal audits

Minimum stock adjustments

Perform to monthly inventory budget

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Process improvement oriented to Customer satisfaction while maintaining a profit attitude for IDG, and always looking for opportunities to improve all processes. Telephone, communication, PC to include Microsoft excel, sales, basic math, PSQ and SPC application, ISO9000, SOP/JWI's, relationship building,inventory management, Process Management. Product, product application, PC, FSM SOP/JWI's, IDG's policies, IDGSMS system. Lean training/understanding

Experience Required: Supervisory &/or Management experience
