Role Summary
As part of the Service Control team you are responsible for change, release, major incident and problem management of all IT services delivered for our Client's operational business activities. Effective processes are a critical part of the service we deliver, and being part of the Service Control team you will have the opportunity to enhance, implement, and optimise the processes to achieve the best customer outcomes.

The team work across both projects and the technical functions. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies and input into how we deliver great service and implement service improvements.

You will work with teams across IT and our Business Stakeholders and we expect you to be an excellent communicator and able to influence and drive change and improvements.
Skills and Experience
  • Ideally you will have experience in Service Management - ITIL Foundation V3 or V4 (desirable)
  • A desire to learn will be important as we want to continually improve what we do but just as important to us is improving and developing our teams.
  • Ideally you will have proven relationship management skills with the ability to build positive partnerships, particularly with technical teams.
  • The ability to work at pace, making clear decisions with a structured and organised approach will also be helpful.
  • Experience of operating in a fast-paced business environment with an emphasis on positive change and adaptive working practices.
  • General understanding of change and risk management within a complex operational environment would also be beneficial.
