Adecco is delighted to be working with a brilliant electronic company looking to recruit for a Manufacturing Manager based in Dorchester.

  • Knowledge of the Electronics industry essential.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the electronics industry essential.
  • A technical degree in an appropriate manufacturing engineering related field (or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential.
  • Previous experience in leading the implementation of New Product Introduction and Advance Product Quality Planning
  • Safety / Ergonomic Qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
  • Trained to IPC610 / 620 desirable, but not essential.

Job Requirement / Skills / Responsibilities:
  • To amend internal process route cards and drawings in accordance with our quality standards.
  • Notify personnel of updated document versions and how to access them.
  • Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date.
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation.
  • To liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project & manufacturing team.
  • Ensure optimum utilisation of equipment and space by coordinating the layout of areas.
  • Ensuring manufacturing issues are addressed, and dealt with prior to repeat builds.
  • To ensure that working practices are safe, and liaising with the health and safety manager to do risk assessments where necessary.
  • To initiate training of staff, ensuring that our skill matrix is kept up to date.
  • To be a team player, to have a 'can do' attitude, remain flexible and adaptable.
  • To be able to operate a computer, have an excellent understanding of Microsoft office and different file types.
  • Good understanding of documents used within the Electronics industry. (assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, gerber data, bill of materials, schematics etc.)


Salary: £30 - £35K per annum
