Providing first class financial and commercial business partnering to a division comprising of five trading and ten functional directorates, you will:
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the directorates, providing analysis and insight
  • Manage the forecasting, budget and five year planning process for the directorates
  • Build and evaluate business cases for new products and initiatives, assessing risk and return against relevant investment metrics
  • Take the commercial lead on projects and opportunities as required and requested
  • Ensure that the directorates perform within an effective financial operating and control environment
  • Manage staff as appropriate to ensure that they are fully effective and motivated in their role
  • approach the role with a positive, collaborative and solutions focused intent and attitude

The ideal candidate will be...
  • A CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant with extensive experience in both a commercial and financial environment
  • A persuasive and collaborative communicator with people of all levels
  • A confident and able negotiator with an ability to influence decision making
  • Able to present complex information coherently to all audiences
  • Experienced in Systems use, including that of MS Office (including Advance Excel), SAP and management information systems
  • Discrete and trustworthy

Package
  • £50 - £60,000 p/a (Dependant on experience)
  • Management Bonus Scheme of up to 15%
  • £353 p/m car allowance
  • Private Medical Insurance & Pension Contribution up to 11%
  • 25 days paid holiday (plus bank holidays)
  • 35 hour working week (flexible working hours as required)
