Learning Support Assistant - about the role

Qualiteach are supporting a two-form entry in Hackney in their search for an experienced Learning Support Assistant. As the successful Learning Support Assistant, your duties will involve working on a 1-1 basis with a young boy with challenging behaviour. You will use your expertise to ensure that the pupil isn't disrupting the other children and maintains a clear focus during lessons. You will be solely responsible for raising attainment and managing the behaviour of the pupil. In order to apply for the role as a Learning Support Assistant it is essential that you have experience working in a primary setting with pupils on a 1-1 basis. The ideal candidate will be someone who is able to provide social development. the school believe that someone the child can relate to will help inspire the child. Interviews for the role as a Learning Support Assistant are to be held ASAP.

Learning Support Assistant - about the school

The client is a two-form entry mainstream primary school with a Children's Centre including pupils aged from 3-11. The community is culturally and ethnically diverse and the school pride themselves on being an inclusive school. Ofsted last visited in 2017 and awarded the school as "outstanding" in all areas! The headteacher is extremely proud of this achievement and aims to maintain this excellent achievement. Pupils' behaviour is outstanding. They show respect and tolerance for each other, this contributes to a strong sense of community within the school.
