Perfect opportunity if you may be a Site Manager, experienced within Structural Building testing, as well as Structures and Construction. Possessing excellent Man-Management skills.

Within this role, you will be working with the Lab Team, across Structures and Engineering, within a Materials Technology Specialist company, based inStoke on Trent. (Salary circa £36-40k Negotiable)

My client specialises in Materials Technologies, across Construction, Aerospace, and Energy. With World-Leading Testing and Analysis Laboratories.

Lab Site Manager / Technical Manager - Principal responsibilities:
  • Lead the Structures Lab team (circa 10 Full Time Employees)
  • Scope new projects with the sales team
  • Set work programs for larger scale customized projects
  • Interpret test results
  • Add technical input and added value into reports
  • Such other duties as may be reasonably required by the Company

Qualifications / knowledge / experience needed for job:
  • Civil engineering or structural engineering degree or HNC/HND
  • Some experience in working in a test environment
  • Experience of leading a team & managing operational delivery
  • Experience in working with European and National Standards
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to design tests and test equipment
  • CAD trained
  • CSCS card holder
  • Driving license
  • Good problem solver
